Entities now have grammatical gender

Each entity now has its own gender — feminine, masculine or neutral — and all generated language agrees with it.

Published August 28, 2026· 1 min read

When creating an entity you can now choose its grammatical gender: feminine, masculine or neutral.

Why it matters

Portuguese inflects articles, adjectives and pronouns. Until this release every entity was treated as feminine regardless of the chosen name. An entity named João was described as "a João... você está viva e operando sozinha".

What changed

  • Gender is now part of the entity record and is chosen at creation time.
  • All generated text about the entity agrees with its gender: the system prompt, the per-pulse stimulus and the embodiment responses.
  • The neutral option does not invent inflection: it rewrites sentences into gender-unmarked constructions and uses the proper name instead of a pronoun.
  • The entity's initial voice now matches the chosen gender.

Entities created before this release remain feminine, as they were. Gender can be adjusted later.
