1. Introduction

Camile AI is committed to protecting privacy and personal data, in compliance with Lei nº 13.709/2018 (LGPD — Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and applicable regulations.

2. Data We Collect

• Registration: name, email, company name, phone number.
• Usage: entity configurations, conversation logs, API calls.
• Payment: processed via Mercado Pago or Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Technical: IP address, browser type, access logs.

3. Purpose

We process data for: platform operation, payment processing, customer support, AI model improvement (anonymized), and legal compliance.

4. Legal Bases (LGPD Art. 7)

• Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies.
• Contract execution: for platform operation and billing.
• Legitimate interest: for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
• Legal obligation: for tax records and judicial requests.

5. Data Sharing

Data is shared with: cloud infrastructure providers, AI model providers, payment processors, and email services. We do not sell personal data. Subprocessors are listed in our DPA.

6. Your Rights (LGPD Art. 18)

• Confirmation of processing and access to data
• Correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data
• Data portability to another service provider
• Revocation of consent

7. Retention

• Conversations: archived after 90 days, deleted after 180 days.
• Account data: retained while active + 30 days after termination.
• Payment records: retained for 5 years (tax compliance).

8. Security

• TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
• AES-256 encryption at rest
• Row-Level Security (RLS) for multi-tenant isolation
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for admin accounts
• Immutable audit logs

9. International Transfer

Data is primarily processed in Brazil. When international transfer is necessary, we ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
